I have downloaded your mod client and it keeps crashing my game!
That may be happening for so many reasons. Most of the time it is related to people's GTA: San Andreas mods installed from different developers. Mods are very difficult to keep track of. Best you can do is seek for help on our Discord. If you managed to join the server using your mods, well, lucky you! If you still crash, and don't know what to do be sure to visit our discord (https://tlou-samp.com/discord). We will do something about it for sure.
I am stuck forever on "Auto-Save feature" screen information when I join...
Please make sure you have audio.asi file installed (it's included in the downloaded client). The file must be in GTA San Andreas root directory.
How do I reload my weapons while on the server, open my backpack, craft stuff and other things?
All of those informations were provided to you the first time you joined the server. You didn't pay attention apparently. Be sure to check these commands on the server:
- /keysinfo & /keysinfo2
- /mechanics
If you still have any questions use /ask command in-game to ask a question.
Can I create my bases on the server?
No. We are currently located in Los Santos, where there's been created 32700 objects around entire city. I am struggling already to add any more objects and to be fair you'll have hard time finding a good spot to create your base anywhere. It is a feature that is currently in the far, far roadmap.
Where do I find loot?
There's over 2500 items loot spawns in the entire city (including interiors). If you didn't manage to find them, well, you must be unlucky!
Loot can be found:
- in garbage piles throughout the city (every server restart, they respawn and they may not be there or some other item could be spawned).
- by killing NPCs (that's happening randomly, they might drop some loot - up to 4 items!)
- in certain places in Los Santos, Fireflies & Hunters bases too!
Where's the vehicles? huh..
Vehicles are not supported by the game yet. The city is filled with NPCs (600) and objects, it would be tough for you to drive around in all that anyway. So you better off without it. Instead, you are given a fast-travel system! You'll learn more about it during your first server introduction.
